Field Service Engineer
Sterling Heights, Michigan
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for performing the on-site installation, servicing and repair of magnetic systems. Operational quality testing of system equipment. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
*Serves as company liaison with customer on technical matters for assigned projects.
*Provide troubleshooting and repair support for customers and other field service personnel
*Develop positive working relationships with customers, system users and company personnel
*Travel, often on short notice, to customer sites to resolve problems or support other field service personnel
*Complete and submit field service reports
*Provide training for customers and users on system maintenance
*Act as a subject expert and resource for training
*Electric or Electronic background necessary.
*Prefer Bachelor in Electronics Engineering Technology, or other technical related field.
*Ability to travel by air and ground. Must have valid driver’ s license and good driving record.
*Current passport or at minimum ability to obtain passport
*Able to work at heights, work from a ladder and ability to carry ladder/tools/parts from vehicle to work site.
*Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
*Must be self-motivated, organized and responsible to plan, execute, and document.
*Must be able to complete work responsibilities with little supervision. Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgment.
*Ability to work effectively as a team member, assisting when and where needed.
*Background check may be conducted.
*80% Travel covering USA, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico
