Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide counsel on Federal and State employment legislation compliance
  • Manage work visa program
  • Develop & manage employee classification & job description program
  • Consult with legal counsel as appropriate, and/or as directed by the President
  • Manage drug & alcohol testing program
  • Develop and manage an effective full-cycle recruitment program
  • Create, implement, and enforce employee policies
  • Manage full-cycle payroll processing
  • Develop & manage performance review program
  • Supervise the Administrative Assistant
  • Manage health benefits plan
  • Develop & manage DBE program
  • Maintain employee files
  • Develop & manage employee training program
  • Manage casualty insurance plan
  • Advise on Labor Relations
  • Manage company assets program
  • Develop & manage effective workers compensation program
  • Manage retirement benefits plan
  • Perform additional duties as needed
  • Follow direction of President
  • Adhere to company policies & procedures

 

Education:
  • BS in Business Administration, Human Resources:
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar position.

 

Analytical expertise:

Knowledge of HR project management principles and strong analytical skills

 

Other:
  • Expertise with HR related software such as ADP, Paychex, Workday
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Italian) highly desirable
  • 50% Travel within the USA
