MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include but not limited to:
  • Computer data entry
  • Ordering parts and supplies
  • Tracking orders
  • Filing paperwork
  • Inventory Control

Observes and complies with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations associated with a manufacturing environment

Attends and participates in all scheduled training and educational programs identified.

 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required

      One year MRO buying, machinery parts purchasing or related experience      

Strong organization and planning skills

Ability to work independently with judgment

Excellent written and oral communication skills to work effectively with the public and others in the work environment

Demonstrated ability to work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

  • reliability from prior attendance history

Experience dealing with vendors

Tool crib Experience

Basic Computer Knowledge

Knowledge of MP2 software

Knowledge of:

 -  Thermoplastics injection molding industry: tools, prints, design, development and business cycle

-    QS9000 process and/or methodology used in the plastics industry

 

Two years of related work experience in the following areas:
  • Compiling data to produce reports
  • Researching and evaluating information
  • Basic keyboarding skills
  • Establishing filing and record keeping systems
